Meet Sheree
(She/Her)
I am a 31 year old cisgender female, a Virginia Tech Hokie, and the epitome of a Cat Lady. I have a strong belief that about 98% of mental health struggles are rooted in some form of traumatic or distressing experience that shaped our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. I don’t need to know what is “wrong” with you, I’m more interested in what has happened to you. As a recovering people-pleasing perfectionist myself, I know that change is possible. I take a holistic approach to exploring all areas of your life that are impacting your symptoms, beyond just brain chemicals. With some self-exploration, vulnerability, empowerment, and a little bit of humor & sarcasm, I would love to help you reach your personal goals.

Our Philosophy
-
Lotus Flower.
The lotus flower blooms only in muddy waters. Although rooted in mud, it rises above the water to bloom beautifully and without stain.
-
Two Arrows.
The parable of the second arrow is a Buddhist parable about dealing with suffering more skillfully. The Buddhists say that any time we suffer misfortune, two arrows fly our way. Being struck by an arrow is painful. Being struck by a second arrow (our reaction to the first arrow) is even more painful.
